The Educational Legacy Planning process combines the following research methods to establish a draft plan for moving forward:
• Educational program study to establish how to best educate children at all levels.
• Community aspirations for schools.
• A detailed assessment of school buildings based upon the ideal discovered in the research. The process then evaluates the educational adequacy of the buildings to support present and future learning – especially as it relates to the community’s long range vision for its schools. Additionally, the process will review present conditions, useful life of various key aspects of the schools and the cost of upgrading schools to enhance program in the short and long term.
Synthesizing the data in these four categories helps to establish a plan for moving forward well into the future.
